Golf
Marbella is a golfer paradise with the largest number of golf courses in continental Europe, where many international events have been held and where golf can be played 365 days a year. La Finca is perfectly situated to access some of the best golf courses in Marbella: Los Arqueros, La Quinta, Los Naranjos, Villa Padierna, Royal Las Brisas and many others.
Sports
Four marinas in 26 kms of coastline, combined with one of the best race courses on the Costa del Sol and a perfect microclimate for virtually 365 days a year, make Marbella a benchmark for water sports in Spain. Los Arqueros is 15 minutes by car to Puerto Banús which is par excellence the largest and most famous marina in Marbella. In the called Sierra Blanca, Sierra Canucha and Sierra de las Nieves exist numerous walking trails with great views, of mountains and the sea. At Los Arqueros, you will find tennis, padel, squash court and a gym.
The coast and the beach
Sunbathing, swimming in the tranquil waters of the Mediterranean, having lunch in a beachside restaurant, enjoying a drink in an exclusive beach club, these are just some of the options open to you on the 27.9 kms of Marbella's beaches. La Finca lies 3 kilometres inland from San Pedro waterfront (with Blue flag), with the glamorous resorts of Puerto Banus and Marbella just down the coast road to the east, with their designer shopping, gourmet restaurants, casinos and nightclubs.
Tourism
As well as the nearby coastal attractions, La Finca is an ideal base for visiting the many spectacular and ancient towns and villages of Andalucia, with Malaga approximately 40 minutes away, Gibraltar 40 minutes, Ronda 50 minutes, Jerez 90 minutes, Cadiz 90 minutes, Seville 2 hours, Cordoba 2 hours and Granada 2 hours. And don't forget to visit the picture perfect hillside village of Benahavis, just a couple of kilometres inland from Los Arqueros, with its huge choice of excellent restaurants.
Shopping and gastronomy
Marbella is a shopper´s paradise with its designer boutiques, back street tourist shops and big commercial centres like El Corte Inglés or La Cañada. You can enjoy some smaller boutique stores in Nueva Andalucia or go to San Pedro amazing outdoor market on Thursdays. A full range of restaurants, tapas bars, shops, supermarkets, banking facilities etc is available in nearby San Pedro. Just up in the hills, the beautiful 'white village' of Benahavis is famous for its many excellent restaurants. At the Club House the restaurant offers an excellent daily menu with a perfect balance price/quality.
